Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum is Japan's biggest museum which specializes in dinosaurs. It is in the best place where most dinosaur fossils in Japan are unearthed. You can see more than thirty dinosaur skeletons, hundreds and thousands of specimens, large restored diorama and various films. The entire contents are unified and organized in network.

A media exhibition which gives a clear explanation of various dinosaur mysteries from the fossils.
• Virtual Exploration of Dinosaur Skeleton
Using the real dinosaur skeletons in the exhibition, we reproduced the precise skeletons by computer graphics with the supervision of dinosaur experts from around the world! With the joystick, you can not only see the skeleton from all direction, but also do things like exploring in the head of the dinosaur and look at the skeleton closely as if you are flying around it.

An information device on a wall which shows the information about dinosaur excavation.
• The Japanese Archipelago and Continental Shifts
You can move the 3D+CG Earth, and see the drift of continents interactively.
• DINO INFORMATION
This is a mural display facility to present information concerning excavation of dinosaurs.
With simple operation, the latest information can always be renewed.
